I’ve been trying to fuel my body via macros the past couple months and have seen a HUGE transition with my body that I hadn’t seen in the past. When you are training - whether it be weight training, running, training for a triathlon, your macros matter. How you fuel your body matters. I never paid much attention to this but after testing that theory out the past few months, I am all in. The most important thing I pay attention to is —- protein. I have always been so deficient in protein and to build muscle and give our bodies the building blocks it needs, you need protein. You’ll find you have more energy, muscle builds easier, + a healthier mind. Proteins contain amino acids which help produce neurotransmitters. Neurotransmitters can help with preventing and treating depression and anxiety. This is also really great in that postpartum period - UP that protein.
