Layering for adventure

Our trip to Iceland is coming up quickly and today I'm sharing my capsule wardrobe for the colder, rainier weather there. Temps will range from 35-45 degrees and October is one of their rainiest months - So, layering is key! I've carefully selected pieces that are both comfortable and stylish, perfect for exploring the stunning Icelandic landscapes. Next week I will share cold weather layering for the kids - stay tuned for that!

My first collage includes all the waterproof / warm gear that will be needed for the unpredictable weather. The second collage farther down will include some other pieces that I am bringing to build outfits (mostly athleisure) and at the bottom you will see examples of outfits that I have built for the trip. I print these out and bring them with me to make getting ready, easy!
