As I mentioned last week - we are heading off for a few days sans kids to ASHEVILLE, NC (!!) If you have any suggestions on places to eat or things to see/do — please let me know!
The goal of this trip is to have (the most) fun and pack light (+ stress free). When it comes to cramming four days' worth of adventure into a carry-on, it's all about strategy. I love pulling together the items I want to bring into a layout on Canva. This allows me to add pieces I may be missing and then create outfits easily.
For this trip I knew I wanted to take one of my favorite pairs of denim. These can be worn uncuffed, cuffed once or twice making them really versatile. My plan is to pair them with a pair of Converse sneakers or dress them up with these gorgeous heels.
Here's a pro tip: layering is your BFF. Throw in a lightweight cardigan or blazer (or both) that can warm you up on a chillier day. This trip threw me for a loop because the temps looks like it’s mid 60s while we are there. 60 degrees is a tough temperature to pack for since it definitely requires some layers that you can shed as the temp warms up in the afternoon.
I plan to utilize these amazing packing cubes. These babies are a game-changer for keeping your suitcase organized and maximizing space. Roll your clothes like a pro, stack 'em up, and watch the magic happen (especially when fitting everything into a carry-on).
In today’s post you will see the items I chose to pack along with 6 different looks styled at the end. I can definitely mix and match a few more items to make more looks which I love. You never know what type of mood you will be on the day you’re getting dressed so I like to have options.
