Printable Packing List for Banff
This is the exact list that I worked off of when packing for Banff in August
Today’s post includes a printable packing list for Banff (and what I alter for all of our trips) as well as some packing videos to give you an idea of what we pack/bring. I will be sending out a few “notes” while on the trip to show you some pictures of the scenery! To be able to access these notes, download the Substack app where you will find them in your inbox or simply head over to the inbox tab on Substack.com! These notes do not get sent to your email :)
When preparing for a trip to Banff in August, it's essential to consider the changing weather conditions. With daytime temperatures hovering around 70 degrees and nights cooling down to the 40s, you need to be prepared for both yourself and your kids. The key to a comfortable and enjoyable experience is strategic layering. Packing a mix of lightweight, moisture-wicking base layers, insulating mid-layers, and a reliable waterproof on the outside is crucial to tackle unpredictable rain or shine. You can remove layers throughout the day as needed but at least you have them!
This is the exact packing list that I used for our trip and I hope that it is helpful for you as well!
