This week’s newsletter will be the last one until the new year! I find myself running around like a crazy person and I need to take a little hiatus for a few weeks!

• WATCH || The Items Americans Really Don’t Want Underneath the Tree | Kite + Key Media → Think twice before gifting these items this year!

• READ || All Fours | Miranda July → I started this book on audible a few days ago. I am making my way through the NY Times top ten books of 2024. Have you read this one yet?!

• WATCH || The Holiday Junkie | Lifetime → Jennifer Love Hewitt stars in this new Lifetime holiday movie that comes out on Dec. 14th! You can read more about it here! Adding it to the list of holiday movies to watch.

• WATCH || Modern Day Slavery in Alabama | Perfect Union Documentary → A story about fast food companies and corporations in Alabama are using incarcerated persons to work for free within their facilities. The Justice Department has found that Alabama prison conditions are unconstitutional.

• WATCH || Lee | Prime Video → Currently on our watch list - this movie is about Lee Miller who was a fashion model turned war corespondent for Vogue magazine during World War II

Listening to this on repeat -

• These shade sticks are a great stocking stuffer - add a pop of color into your hair without any commitment (easily washes out!) I got a few of these for the girls stockings

• Adding this incredible lodge to our list of places to visit!

• I was so excited about this news when I first heard it but it sounds like it might now actually go through….

• If we ever actually go to Disney - I would want to take the kids here to stay! We still can’t manage to get on that Disney train. We would much rather spend money on an excursion to some place we’ve never been!

• I am a huge fan of reading the physical book as opposed to audible or on a kindle - case and point below -

• If you have a pre-teen, this author (and her books) are fantastic

• If you have an elf - here are some fun ideas that we have done so far 1 / 2 / 3 - we don’t do anything too complicated here at our house. I can hardly remember to move the darn thing around the house….

• A great gift for anyone on your list - a waterproof tote that with your purchase, helps feed children in need!

• A great stocking stuffer for a child that loves a little comfort to fall asleep with

• I would love to receive this for the holidays……..

• We bought this for our pup for Christmas
