Hi everyone,

The good news this week is that our basement is in it’s final stages! Floors are in and I just finished vacuuming and washing the walls/ceiling! A few paint touch ups and baseboard fixings and we will be ready to put the gym back together! I will put together a basement before + after once everything is completely done but here is a sneak peek:

It’s unrecognizable. This area you see is where my husband’s office desk will go. We don’t need access to that big closet because it’s where our furnace is (we can always move the desk if we need to). Through that black hole door is where the gym - so excited to show you that!

I know there was a lot of news thrown at us this week which I touch on throughout the newsletter today. I did put together this post about the gutting of the Dept. of Education and what’s at stake. I know their stance is “Give the power back to the states” and I talk about why that statement lacks context and what the actual Dept. of Education does.

I broke my toe this week (or at least I am 95% sure I did - I didn’t get an x-ray because the treatment is to do nothing 😜) on a DAMN grocery cart this week. So there’s that….

The weather is starting to warm up here which is really exciting!

3.) English Muffin Pizzas (we do these on the Dave’s Killer Bread English Muffins) with some side veggies
