Hi everyone,

This newsletter is a bit shorter this week because I am leaving today (Wednesday) for Quebec! I am heading to pick up Karla and Ailsa from the airport soon! It’s also short because I was bed bound for two days due to a GI bug that ran rampant through everyone at our Friendsgiving party last weekend (:

I am excited to get away and explore a new place for a few days and forget about the absolute ridiculous world we are about to live in with TV show hosts running our government. Anyone else trying so hard not to get exhausted with every single Cabinet pick?!

I cannot decide which color to paint our new gym area in the basement. I really want black but then my mom had me second guessing it because “all the spiders love dark places - creepy!” So now I am torn on black (as seen here) or light gray as seen here

• READ || The Truth About The Holiday Cottage | Home & Hort Substack → For those of you that are fans of the Christmas movie, ‘The Holiday’, you may be interested in hearing more about which scenes of this movie were real - they break it all down in this post! PS. Now I want to plan a trip there….

• JD Vance wants to prevent women from traveling out of state. He wants women to prove they are not pregnant before traveling so that if they come back now pregnant, he can prosecute them. You can listen to that here in this NY Times interview
