Hi everyone,
Happy Friday!
We are making some progress on the basement - see the video below! The next step will be to clear out the rest of the odds and ends and frame it out with 2x4’s. We lined the crawl spaces with waterproof flooring and I put all of our storage boxes (travel stuff, holiday items, housewares, memory boxes, etc) up into the space this week. To have everything labeled and organized so that I can actually find it is one of the best things ever.
The sprint triathlon was so much fun last weekend. Our oldest did it with me and we could not be more proud of her! She came in at 1:50 which is 10 minutes faster than the goal we had. Now I have the triathlon bug and I am 90% sure I am signing up for the Olympic length triathlon that we have in CT next August (1.5km swim, 25 mile bike and 10k run)! I just bought a few used books on Amazon to start the research on how to train properly. If you have done one before, let me know your tips! I’ve trained for a marathon before but this will be a bit different….
I don’t post images of my kids anymore and haven’t for years now. This one was too good and is completely anonymous so here you go for a laugh — (context: this is after steroids for croup which made her pretty hysterical)
“I’m the doctor today. What do you need?”
HOUSEKEEPING:
🌼 My Poshmark will continue to have new items added weekly as I go through all of our closets :)
🪸 I am currently working on my layering post for kids and I noticed that Reima (where we get all the kids outdoor gear) is having a sale on all their rain gear! 25% off when you buy 2 or more
🌸
